January 2025 marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. Following an extensive assessment by SBTi Services, evaluating ScandBook’s targets against the SME Criteria Assessment Indicators, our submitted targets have been officially approved.
Science-based targets provide a clear and structured pathway for companies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, helping mitigate the most severe impacts of climate change while ensuring sustainable business growth.
At ScandBook, we are committed to:
- Reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, based on a 2020 baseline.
- Measuring and reducing Scope 3 emissions as part of our broader sustainability strategy.
- Achieving net-zero by 2050, with a commitment to reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 90% by 2050, using 2020 as the base year.
Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our collaboration with customers, suppliers, and industry partners to drive meaningful progress toward our climate goals.
